This list was initially generated from the list of semiprozines that have been previously nominated (long list) and is by no means a complete or official list. We are currently contacting publications that may be on the edge of professional to confirm current nomination eligibility. Closed publications have been removed, recently ineligible have been marked, and new ones will be added. If you are an editor or publisher of a qualified semiprozine and would like to have yours added to this list, please books(@)clarkesworld.com and I’ll add it.

Semiprozine.org was originally founded as SaveSemiprozine.org when the Best Semiprozine Hugo Award was in danger of being eliminated. After successfully saving the category, it was decided that this site should continue to serve as a central point of communication from and about semiprozines. We will also be reporting on the efforts of the committee that has been charged with redefining the criteria for the Best Semiprozine Hugo.
